Must Have This Season


Here are my Must Have for this Season and my pursuit in purchasing them.


1. Instant Read Meat Thermometer

I have been looking for one for the longest time and was contemplating on just getting it online when lo and behold I found one at Rustan's. Yipee. Here is how to use it from Mareng Martha's website.


Instant-Read Thermometers

Take the guesswork out of cooking your Thanksgiving turkey and other roasted meats with one of these handy little tools.
How To Use It Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding any bones. Check periodically toward the end of cooking; do not leave the thermometer in the oven.
Beef/Lamb/Veal 125° to 135° for rare; 135° to 140° for medium; 150° for well-done and ground
Turkey 170° for breast and 180° for thigh
Chicken/Other Poultry 160° for boneless breasts; 165° for thighs and ground
Pork 150° for medium, and 160° for well-done and ground
